Up for auction is a black and white 8" x 10" photo signed by legend Jeff Kinney. Kinney was the running back for the Huskers from 1969-1971. Kinney was a leader of the Huskers and won the National Championships in 1970 & 1971 earning All American honors. Kinney's best season was 1971 when he amassed 1155 rushing yards on 242 carries (4.8 average) with 17 touchdowns. Kinney was drafted in the 1st round (23th pick overall) in the 1972 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. Kinney played for the Chiefs from 1972-1976 and the Buffalo Bills after the 1st game of the 1976 season after being released by the Chiefs. Kinney signed the photo boldly in black and added "70/71 National Champs". The photo is new and in excellent condition.
